Anna Lena Athens
Anna-Lena started her Greek odyssey living in Mykonos during the summer months doing Online Marketing & Social Media.  She loved the Greek lifestyle so much that she eventually found a place perfect for her along the Coast and made Vouliagmeni her residence.

What brought you to Greece and why did you choose to live on the Athens Coast?

First Love, Life & Work, than my love and passion for this country.

My dog made the decision to live on the Coast. I needed the beach and nature close and if these are your priorities, there is no better place to be than the Coast!

Which is your favorite beach and why?

All dog friendly beaches, which are rare to find in high season, that’s why we mostly drive towards Sounio. You can find stunning beaches there, which are not that crowded. Once you pass Mojito Beach, it starts to get fun with a dog.

What is your favorite area to spend time in during the day and why?

I love starting my mornings with a dog walk at the mountain opposite the Island Beach Club between Vouliagmeni and Vari. The view is stunning, you can overlook the Aegean sea, the center of Athens and the magic islands.

For a Coffee during the day I like Balux House Project.

For a night out, which area do you prefer and why?

Island in Varkiza is a great place for dinner and late nights out.

But if you want options, Glyfada for sure! Restaurant, Bars, Beach Clubs… its all there!  Pere Ubu is a fun place to go and Bella Vespa is a great place for dinner.

The coast has so much to offer, I could spend an hour to name places!

Do you have any tips for someone who is a new resident on the Athens Coast?

Keep exploring! Even though you will for sure find your favorite places very quick, don’t get lazy, so many new places are opening every year and the ones who are still there after years, have a reason for it. The coast offers so many places, I don’t think I will ever know them all.

What should the rest of the world know about the Athens Coast?

Its my magic place. Unexpected beautiful, a incomparable lifestyle surrounded by impressive nature! If you visit Athens without a day at the coast, you haven’t been there!
